The app isn’t just handy when you are visiting the zoo but also fun to use at home. The Blijdorp app keeps you updated on everything that happens at the zoo.
Do you want to watch animals being fed or meet a keeper? Choose the activities you would like to see and receive a notification when they are about to happen. You will receive news updates and you will be notified so you can be first to visit new born animals or the newest enclosures. Definitely give the "Don't miss a thing" route a try or discover a 'suprising' Rotterdam Zoo with the "Historical and Botanical Rotterdam Zoo" route.

With this update you can peek at the newborn okapi Mhina (Nov. 26th) via webcams in her maternity stable behind the scenes. In the map you now see immediately the route to the animal or area that you want to visit. The map also shows you the nearest toilet via the search function.
